Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Material Handler for the Mundelein, IL facility on the 2nd shift. You will move, receive, track, and stage materials to support production and shipping, with training on 1st shift for 3–5 weeks.

This full-time, hourly role includes a $22.66/hour pay plus a $2.50 second-shift differential. Overtime is occasional; on-site work with standard safety and 5S requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Basic computer skills and use of handheld RF scanners
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks with materials accurately
• Transport raw materials to production areas for continuous operations
• Receive inbound materials and verify quantities against documentation
• Prepare and stage outbound shipments per production and customer requirements
• Record inventory movements using warehouse systems (JDE, RFS, RF scanners)
• Label, package, and organize materials to maintain inventory accuracy
• Maintain 5S compliant work areas and follow safety procedures
