MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Material Handler for the Mundelein, IL facility on the 2nd shift. You will move, receive, track, and stage materials to support production and shipping, with training on 1st shift for 3–5 weeks.

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Material Handler - 2nd Shift at our Mundelein, Illinois facility. In this role, you will move, receive, track, and stage materials to support production and shipping while maintaining safe, accurate inventory flow. Training will take place on 1st shift for approximately 3 to 5 weeks before transitioning to the regular 2nd-shift schedule.

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-12:00 AM; training on 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM for approximately 3-5 weeks
Pay: $22.66/hour

Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials throughout the facility.
Load and unload trucks while handling materials safely and accurately.
Transport raw materials to designated production areas to support continuous operations.
Receive inbound materials, verify quantities against shipping documentation, and report discrepancies or visible damage.
Prepare and stage outbound shipments according to production and customer requirements.
Use warehouse systems such as JDE, RFS, RF scanners, or similar tools to record inventory movements.
Label, package, and organize materials to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability, including supporting cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
Maintain organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards and follow safety procedures for equipment operation and load securement.
Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, or willingness to obtain required certification.
Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld RF scanners or similar warehouse devices.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience.
Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift.
Forklift certification.
This role involves working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
Employees in this role regularly stand and walk for extended periods and frequently lift, bend, stoop, and reach. The position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed, push or pull carts or pallets of materials, and use manual dexterity to handle small components and operate scanning equipment.
