DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Material Handler for the 2nd shift (M-TH 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM) at our Canal Winchester warehouse. This role focuses on loading/unloading freight, inventory control, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of warehouse experience, familiarity with OSHA regulations, and the ability to operate a forklift and computer-based systems. OSHA-compliant safety and reliable performance are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations.
• Able to operate forklift and hand truck.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs.
• Excellent organizational, inventory and accounting skills.
• Able to read, decode, decipher freight coding.
• Inclement weather conditions may apply.

Responsabilidades

• Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Unload containers and sort freight by size and destination.
• Read and decipher freight coding to expedite movement and tracing.
• Reconcile driver pickup and delivery manifests.
• Label, weigh and dimension freight.
• Maintain safe, clean dock area; follow safety procedures.
• Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on reports.
• Manage inventory, rotation and inspection of warehouse stock.
• Complete required documentation and other duties as needed.
• Maintain communication with internal and external customers.
