Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Material Handler I to support distribution center operations, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, order picking, inventory control, and outbound shipping. The role uses RF scanners and warehouse management systems, and operates reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, and pallet jacks to ensure accurate and timely orders.

The 2nd shift starts at 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
1 year of warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
Experience operating reach trucks and/or order pickers/cherry pickers.
Powered Industrial Equipment certification preferred.
Experience with RF scanners and warehouse systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
Steel-toe shoes required.

Responsibilities

Assist receiving, put-away, replenishment, order picking, and outbound shipping activities.
Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Use RF scanners and WMS to track and verify items.
Operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, and pallet jacks as needed.
Keep a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment.
Contribute to on-time fulfillment of customer orders.
