Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Material Handler in Marietta, OH to support shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment. The role emphasizes accurate processing, documentation, and safe operation of equipment in a climate-controlled warehouse.

Candidates should have 2+ years of warehousing or logistics experience, a high school diploma, and familiarity with ERP systems. The position is on-site with potential overtime and a contract-to-hire path.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
2+ years experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics.
12 years manufacturing experience with product assembly preferred.
Ability to follow policies, procedures, instructions, and schedules.
Experience operating powered industrial trucks and handling materials.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, sort, store, and count items for storage and shipment per procedures.
Process orders accurately to meet customer timeframes.
Receive materials daily and verify quality, type, and quantity.
Ensure correct documentation (packing lists) and resolve discrepancies.
Operate forklifts and distribution equipment safely at varied heights.
Handle inventory in room, cold-room, and freezer-room environments.
Follow shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures consistently.
Use ERP, email, and shipping software to support operations.
Monitor team metrics to support improvements and performance.
Maintain professional communication with internal teams.
