Job description

Join to apply for the 2nd shift MATERIAL HANDLER role at GKN Automotive.

Responsibilities include:

1. Rotating between all logistics jobs such as Material Handler, Receiver, Shipper, Stretch Wrap, and miscellaneous tasks like Cycle Counter, Recyclables, Service Material Handler, Battery Maintenance.
2. Following and applying QS9000 procedures.
3. Maintaining inventory accuracy at a cycle count level greater than 96%.
4. Proficiently using computers, bar scanning devices, and related equipment.
5. Timely delivery of materials and removal of finished goods within the assembly cell.
6. Receiving and shipping products accurately and promptly.
7. Operating all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
8. Possessing a working knowledge of KANBAN.
9. Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
