Job summary

Kemps Dairy is hiring a Material Handler/Forklift to unload materials, move ingredients, and store products while operating equipment safely. You will follow GMP and communicate across departments to keep operations smooth.

Schedule: 4 days a week, Monday–Saturday, 5 PM to finish. Pay: $24.80 per hour. Benefits include a 401(k) with company contribution, healthcare, paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for growth within DFA family farms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must perform basic math with units and decimals.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal checks).

• Able to work in wet/dusty environments.
• Flexible hours, overtime, weekends/holidays.

JOB SUMMARY

Kemps Dairy has immediate job openings for a Material Handler/Forklift to perform all-purpose duties, which may include unloading materials and ingredients for warehouse use, transferring and storing raw and finished products and operating onsite equipment and machinery in a safe manner. General laborers will be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment
• May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
