Job summary

Kress Corporation is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Welder for the 2nd shift in Brimfield, IL. You will independently assemble, fit, and weld metal components to specification using arc-welding equipment.

Responsibilities include welding in multiple positions, surface preparation, and adhering to safety/quality standards. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and passing a welding test; 2nd shift offers time-and-a-half pay differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Multi pass welding experience is required.
• Candidate must successfully complete a Kress administered welding test.
• Flux core welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manually support and guide weld gun along weld lines.
• Work in flat, horizontal, overhead, and vertical weld positions.
• Manually groove or scarf surface with oxy-fuel cutting torch.
• Maintain quality and Kress Corporation safety standards.
