Sonoco in Forest Park, GA is hiring for a Utility (Production Worker) on 2nd shift, 1:30pm-10pm. The role offers a starting wage of $25.61 per hour with raises of $0.50 at 6 months and after an additional 6 months.

Responsible for supporting production, safety, quality, and productivity within our manufacturing operations. Candidates with manufacturing experience, ability to follow standard work instructions and a strong attendance record are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience helpful
• Ability to read and comprehend standard work instructions, basic math and measuring

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing tasks
• Load metal ends in the rotofeed
• Dump trash from lines
• Relieve for breaks on the palletizer and depalletizers
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
• Assist other departments as needed
