Job summary

Seeking Manufacturing technicians with minimum 3 years of experience!

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday: 2pm-12:30am. Hours are subject to change based on business demand.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for the local delivery and execution of core manufacturing technician to vendors and managers in accordance with Johnson Controls principles, corporate policies and procedures, and plant operations. You will perform a variety of employment‑related functions for the ultimate purpose of enhancing employee engagement, safety and health, productivity and ensuring employee compliance with Company policies in a manufacturing facility.

How You Will Do It

• Read blueprints
• Use power tools, drills, grinders, saws, and hand tools
• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work according to blueprints or drawings, using tape measures, straight edges, or squares, and marking devices
• Bolt, screw, clip, or otherwise fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools and equipment
• Clean and prepare assembly line
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Noise levels can fluctuate from quiet to loud
• May work in tight spaces
• Hazards associated with the industry

Preferred

• 2+ years prior experience as an assembler, carpenter, construction or home building is preferred
• Must have manufacturing experience
• Sheet metal experience is a plus
• Power tool experience in construction is preferred
