Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor for our Lincoln, NE facility. You will supervise production employees, enforce safety policies, plan workloads, and train staff to ensure product quality meets customer expectations. The role emphasizes achieving on-time delivery, labor efficiency, and cost savings under LEAN principles.

The position supports a 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.) with 50–60+ hours per week, including Saturdays, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Five+ years supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing/fabrication/welding
• Ability to read drawings and schematics
• Strong employee relations and on-floor presence

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of production employees (4-8 per team; total 20-30)
• Ensure safety policies and OSHA guidelines are followed
• Meet or exceed OTD, DLH, MRO, and cost targets
• Plan workload and assign jobs; train employees
• Oversee shift operations and liaise with Operations Manager
