Job summary

Edwards Vacuum in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift to ensure efficient product flow and a safe work environment. You will lead machining teams, drive safety, quality, delivery and cost targets, and collaborate with management on new processes.

The role requires 5 years in manufacturing with 3 years in leadership, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and a track record of continuous improvement. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience within a manufacturing operation with 3 years leadership experience.
• Experience of leading and motivating teams.
• Lean Management experience and/or Six Sigma.
• Experience in facilitating and leading continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop manufacturing employees of a machining area to ensure on-time delivery of components.
• Achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost targets for the full range of manufactured products.
• Foster a customer-focused team culture with emphasis on operational flexibility.
• Promote and apply continuous improvement processes across the cell.
• Collaborate with management to introduce new products and processes on schedule, within cost targets.
• Develop a culture of teamwork and flexibility in both indirect and direct operations.
