Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks in Lincoln, NE is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee production teams and ensure safety and quality. You will plan workloads, assign jobs, train employees, and drive on-time delivery while controlling costs.

This role manages 4-8 hourly employees per shift, may include 2nd shift hours (3:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.), and requires strong communication, problem solving, and LEAN experience; familiarity with welding and fabrication.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing/fabrication/welding environment.
• Ability to review and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a Union environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate hourly teams of 4–8 members to meet production goals.
• Adhere to safety policies and OSHA guidelines; promote zero-accident initiatives.
• Utilize LEAN tools to improve efficiency and reduce costs across shifts.
• Plan workload, assign jobs, and provide training to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Keenly monitor attendance, timecard management, and performance reviews.
