Gemstar Manufacturing is hiring a Manufacturing Specialist for the 2nd shift in Cannon Falls, MN. The role involves operating hand tools and 5/3 axis routers, performing CRD/Ext/Assembly tasks, and ensuring parts meet blueprints and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong problem solving and communication skills, and flexibility to work across multiple areas as needed. Overtime may be scheduled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• English reading skills at a basic level.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and determine tasks.
• Set up and operate 5/3 axis routers to cut, drill and finish products.
• Load/unload forming machines and handle molds and parts with care.
• Read blueprints to ensure parts meet specs and company quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on department equipment and ensure safety procedures are followed.
