Job summary

Ashers Chocolate Co is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-12am) in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on maintenance and project operation of production and support equipment, with troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues to keep lines running efficiently.

Requirements include 1-3 years of related experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance and CMMS.
Knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, welding, HVAC, plumbing, pneumatics, conveyors and related tooling.

Responsibilities

Incorporates LOTO procedures as required by policy.
Dismantles devices to access areas and repair/replace parts.
Diagnoses and performs preventative/corrective maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
Inspects parts for wear and orders replacements as needed.
Adjusts devices and control instruments for proper operation.
Repairs electrical equipment within training limits.
Sets up and operates tools like lathe, drill press, grinder to create/repair parts.
Maintains clean work areas after completion.
Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines.
Makes recommendations on equipment/procedure changes.
Locates and positions production machinery per schedule.
Conducts duties safely and conscientiously.
Maintains positive interactions with team members and customers.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
