Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on 2nd shift in Orlando, FL to advance ultraprecision machining processes within the MOC/MFC facility.

The role focuses on driving improvements in small parts assembly, paint, and plating, and requires hands-on shop floor involvement. You will interpret drawings, develop work instructions, perform root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions while coordinating with capital investments and automation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Basic understanding of CAD software such as Siemens NX, CREO, Pro Engineer, or Solidworks (Experience: 3 years)
• Experience working in production manufacturing environment (Experience: 3 years)
• The candidate must be a US citizen

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements within small parts assembly, paint, and plating manufacturing areas
• Interpret drawing requirements and create detailed work instruction documentation to support production needs
• Perform root cause analysis of component non conformances and ensure implementation of effective corrective action
• Create fixture and tooling concepts, drawings, and models
• Identify, evaluate business case, and drive successful implementation of automation and IFF technologies
• Participate in capital investment/equipment evaluation, selection, and project management
• Provide shop floor support as necessary to resolve technical and manufacturing issues
• Monitor and report on quality, schedule, and cost performance of assigned projects/programs
