Job summary

ICP Group in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support production from raw materials to final packaging. The role emphasizes safe operation, quality monitoring, and adherence to SOPs in a fast-paced plant environment.

This 2nd shift (3:30pm–2:00am, Mon–Thu) offers a starting pay of $18.00 per hour with a $0.65 shift differential. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of teamwork to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety, quality and operations policies.
• Experience with chemicals or light chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read SOPs.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs, company policies and safety regulations.
• Operate equipment and perform tasks as instructed by supervision.
• Monitor product quality and alert supervisor of issues.
• Perform start up and shut down activities as directed.
• Cross-train across line positions in the plant.
• Maintain accurate counts and document production.
• Keep the production line clean and hazard-free.
• Assist in maintenance programs and safety audits.
• Train laborers and new Manufacturing Associates.
• Perform general laborer duties as needed.
