Job summary

Sheridan is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations on a 2nd shift. The role runs 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM with consistent weekday hours and rotating on-call weekends.

This position emphasizes mechanical troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment and offers on-site, hands-on duties including equipment maintenance, fabrication, RTU service, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
• Wood working projects.
