Job summary

Sheridan is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with consistent weekday hours and rotating on-call weekends.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns, maintain, modify, and adjust equipment, and manage building systems including RTU air conditioners and belts; wood working projects may be included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities including fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Study recurring facility-oriented failures to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and materials for building and manufacturing.
• Woodworking projects.
