Job summary

Sheridan is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This is a 2nd shift role (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) with consistent weekday hours and a rotating on-call schedule.

This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in a manufacturing environment. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; Rotating on-call weekends (minimum 2 hours paid if called in).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures.
• Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities, including fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on recurring facility-oriented failures to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, perform filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials for building and manufacturing operations.
• Perform wood-working projects as needed.
