Job summary

Walor North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the second shift at our Columbus, OH facility. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document repairs to ensure safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in machine repair, knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics, and the ability to read prints. LOTO safety and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in a machine repair and troubleshooting environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems.
• Basic mechanical, welding and cutting skills.
• Able to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints/schematics.
• Strong problem solving and attention to quality/detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Meter usage and ability to complete measurements.
• Understand and adhere to LOTO and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities and equipment in safe, good working order.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance per schedule and procedures.
• Document preventive maintenance, repairs, part usage, and projects.
• Record daily breakdowns and planned repairs.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Enter data into maintenance system accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
