Job summary

Emerson in Chanhassen is seeking a Maintenance Technician to grow with our team on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM). You will troubleshoot and repair sophisticated production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document work orders in our CMMS.

Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree in Automatic Systems and Robotics or Electronics Technology, experience with measuring and hand tools, and the ability to work 1st shift hours if needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or related technical field required.
• Experience with measuring and hand tools.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:00 PM–1:30 AM).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Documenting work orders and maintenance records in CMMS.
• Installing, modifying, and upgrading equipment as needed.
• Collaborating with production teams to maintain equipment health.
