Job summary

Performance Health is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment in Akron, OH. The role focuses on maintenance tasks to keep production running and minimize downtime.

The position offers a 2–10pm schedule, plus benefits and a potential bonus. Candidates should have 5+ years of machine experience, CMMS knowledge, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience working with machines and controls.
• Certification from college or technical school highly preferred.
• Knowledge and use of CMMS maintenance work order systems.
• Knowledge of word processing software and order processing systems.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals, dust, dirt, fumes, extreme heat and cold, wet or humid conditions.

• This is a full-time position with hourly pay rate of $30.00 - $40.00 and potential bonus.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance troubleshooting and repairs for plant facility and production equipment.
• Responsible for building repairs, lighting, hvac, plumbing and wiring.
• Preventative maintenance for production equipment and facility.
• Basic knowledge of facility equipment such as boiler, chiller and hvac for minor repairs.
• Upgrade equipment by engineering and fabricating parts.
• Responsible for installing new equipment as required.
• Electrical repair experience, light duty wiring and electrical troubleshooting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
