Job summary

Morgan Truck Body in Honey Brook, PA is seeking a maintenance technician to perform basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systems on production equipment and facilities. This role requires reading blueprints, basic PLC fundamentals, and adherence to safety practices.

You will operate hand and powered tools, participate in preventative maintenance, and support a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
• At least 2 years’ experience working in a maintenance department in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies in the work area and throughout Morgan Corporation.
• Operate required hand and portable tools daily.
• Read precision measuring equipment such as dial indicators and calipers.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints and schematics.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting and electrical circuit knowledge (AC/DC).
• Operate complex equipment like forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes, and basket trucks.
• Work overtime, weekends and holidays if required.
• Meet physical requirements: lift up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods.
