Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Austell, GA. The role performs maintenance on plant machinery and equipment and supports other maintenance personnel with mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety policies, maintaining a clean work area, troubleshooting electrical components, managing work orders and inventory, and assisting in training colleagues. A High School Diploma or higher is preferred with 5+ years experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure coworkers adhere to safe work policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic components.
• Ensure work orders are completed as requested or a solution is reached.
• Maintain parts inventory.
• Complete all paperwork and data entry as required.
• Assist in training coworkers.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
