Job summary

Power Solutions International (PSI) is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Darien, WI. The role involves installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing production machines and facility equipment under OSHA guidelines. You will read manuals, diagnose issues, and coordinate with the Maintenance Lead to minimize downtime.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, math ability, and the willingness to obtain relevant certifications. A valid driver’s license and local travel are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; able to read and interpret manuals/diagrams.
• Ability to apply math (fractions, ratios, measurements) and read/understand manuals.
• Willing to obtain certifications (Crane, Fork Truck, Arc Flash, etc.) through PSI training.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; able to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair or replace production machines and facility equipment per safety guidelines.
• Diagnose and perform emergency or scheduled maintenance using manuals and work orders.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Lead to schedule tasks while minimizing downtime.
• Maintain buildings and grounds to keep infrastructure efficient and safe.
• Lift up to 40 pounds; follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Respond to off-hour urgent requests when needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
