Job summary

Daubert Chemical Company in Forest View, IL is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician II to support our chemical production facility on the 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm). Training on first shift may last up to 90 days, after which you transition to the designated shift.

Overtime opportunities and occasional Saturdays/on-call rotations are required. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and preventive-maintain production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, P&IDs.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA regulations including LOTO, confined space, hot work, fall protection, PPE, and safe work permitting.
• Document maintenance activities and repair records in the CMMS system.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to support plant operations.
