Job summary

Daubert Chemical is seeking a Material Handler in Forest View, IL to support daily operations by safely moving, loading, and organizing materials for production. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and an ERP system.

You will work 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm, with opportunities for a bonus and benefits. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 years of material handling experience in a chemical setting preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of material handling experience, preferably in a chemical plant.
• English reading, writing and speaking is required.
• Basic MS Office and ERP experience.
• Good problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Able to demonstrate accurate math calculations.
• Forklift operation training and 1 year experience required.
• Punctuality and attendance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive raw goods and pick raw materials for batch sheets.
• Set up transfers to other departments.
• Store and transport chemicals and raw materials safely.
• Check incoming material against documents for accuracy.
• Assist with cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with logistics for shipments.
• Operate forklift regularly.
• Assist with shipping documents prep.
• Safely handle chemicals during repackaging processes.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping in the facility.
