Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate all types of tools and machines essential to the job, including electrical meters, hand tools, power tools, torches, grinders, welders, forklifts, aerial lifts, overhead cranes, and computer equipment.
- Have a basic working knowledge of pumps, welders, punches, presses, shears, cranes, hoists, conveyors, and small pneumatic and electrical hand tools.
- Troubleshoot line repairs and breakdowns.
- Conduct maintenance and preventive maintenance on manufacturing and maintenance shop equipment.
- Perform machine and fixture setups.
- Operate overhead cranes and other lifting devices.
- Read and interpret prints and schematics.
- Manage maintenance inventory and operate a maintenance database.
- Perform basic welding and work with a torch.
- Complete all tasks safely, efficiently, accurately, and productively, following company policies.
- Contribute to team efforts to produce quality products.
- Provide own tools and perform maintenance tasks.
- Work mandatory overtime as required. Other duties may be assigned by the company.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, based on education and work experience.
- Licenses/Certifications: List any certifications relevant to the position.
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Mechanical and hydraulic press brake operation.
- Ability to work at a fast pace, adapt to new methods, and interpret blueprints.
- Willingness to take responsibility for mistakes.
- Proficiency with multi-meters, computers, and basic schematic reading.
- Background in plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, sprockets, chains, belts, and sheaves.
- Ability to operate tools and equipment listed in essential duties.
- Willingness to learn Lean concepts related to Maintenance/Production.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Basic math skills, especially fractions.
- Training:
- Orientation and company-provided training such as LOTO, utility/golf cart, aerial lifts, etc.
- Additional training like Arc Flash, LOTO, and Confined Space may be provided.
