Job summary

Gellert Global Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Wisconsin to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and repair equipment in a facility that adheres to GMP and SOP standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience, with flexibility for hours and shifts and on-call duties. Training and safety procedures are emphasized to ensure quality and reliability of operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years experience in related field.
• General knowledge of various types of mechanical equipment.
• General knowledge of electrical engineering, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
• Willing to work flexible hours and shifts.
• Willing to be on call and respond to after-hour emergencies.
• Communicate efficiently and fluently in both written and verbal forms.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
• Attention to details to ensure quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
• Inspect, operate and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing gears and other parts of machinery.
• Repair and replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools, power tools and reassemble equipment.
• Move and assist in transportation of furniture and equipment.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other health and safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
