Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to maintain all manufacturing equipment and execute EH&S plans. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and coaching other technicians to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, can read blueprints, and is able to work OT, weekends, and nights. Tools provided by the employee are required, along with adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–10 years maintenance or related industry experience.
• Able to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Must furnish own basic set of tools.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and nights.
• Able to safely use a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Familiar with personal computers.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for readiness of equipment, machines, buildings and grounds.
• Stock and store replacement parts and consumables.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot/repair breakdowns.
• Assist other technicians in troubleshooting plant concerns.
• Lead/train maintenance personnel when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems to root cause.
• Maintain equipment records.
• Ensure compliance with LOTO procedures.
