Job summary

MCC is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Tech/Electrician at our Neenah facility to ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshoot during downtime, and perform preventive maintenance service.

Responsibilities include emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance in a multi-shift environment, troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and supporting Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.

Qualifications

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Reading electrical schematics preferred; vocational maintenance training certificate is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
• Ability to multi-task and identify and execute process improvements as needed.
• Strong problem solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications.
• Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and use hands and fingers to feel and handle material for extended time frames.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines.
• Supports Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to optimize production.
• Responsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
