Job summary

McDaniel Metals LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Wisconsin facilities. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on CNC laser, panel bender, and other equipment, while helping develop preventive maintenance programs across three sites.

The role requires reading blueprints and electrical schematics, and performing diagnostics with meters and PLCs. The 2nd shift (2:30 pm - 10:30 pm) offers a rotating schedule with the maintenance team; candidates must be

Qualifications

• Six or more years of electrical and mechanical experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Experience with PLCs and basic electrical systems (VFDs, fuses, relays).
• Willing to work second shift and travel to multiple sites.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document tasks in CMMS.
• Read blueprints and schematics to install and repair components.
• Respond to emergency work orders and inspect for hazards.
• Coordinate with departments to maintain productive operations.
