Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Ash Grove, MO, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. You will ensure the mechanical and electrical equipment runs reliably and troubleshoot malfunctions, completing repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, wiring, calibration, and maintaining parts stock. OSHA safety requirements apply; the role offers a competitive base pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or completion of technical school.
• At least 2 years of industrial electrical or mechanical experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of three-phase 480V equipment.
• Working knowledge of three-phase motors, programmable controls, NEC.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements related to electrical/mechanical operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in the production area.
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machines.
• Operate mechanical tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Prepare maintenance reports for management.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematics.
• Diagnose and test malfunctioning machinery and discuss with facility personnel.
• Replace or repair faulty components; calibrate equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Maintain stock of tools and electrical parts; weld and fabricate as required.
