Job summary

Amphenol Industrial Operations is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs on production equipment in our Mesa facility. The role will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

You will partner with engineering to improve uptime, maintain records, and ensure safety and quality standards are met in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in manufacturing equipment
• Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring problems
• Work with electrical systems, including motors, sensors, and control panels, while adhering to safety standards
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems, including air hoses, fittings, valves, solenoids, and actuators
• Make precise adjustments to machinery to optimize performance and ensure quality production
• Adjust equipment as necessary to meet operational standards
• Well versed on the use of various hand tools and power tools
• Basic understanding of Automation equipment
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Work closely with production and quality staff to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding equipment status and maintenance needs
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on equipment maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory
• Control Spare parts availability and usage
