Job summary

Amphenol Industrial Operations in Endicott, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shift. The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment, partnering with engineering to minimize downtime and boost productivity.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, performing root-cause analysis, and supporting CNC, Swiss lathe, and DMG milling centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of maintenance technician experience.
• Ability to read schematics and use hand and power tools.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
• Familiarity with CNC, Swiss lathe, DMG milling centers, stamping presses, automated systems preferred.
• NIMS or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in manufacturing equipment.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Work with electrical systems including motors and control panels while adhering to safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems and maintain equipment performance.
• Document preventive maintenance and manage parts usage.
• Support installations, rebuilds, and calibrations on CNC and automated equipment.
