2ND SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN NEEDED - FT. WAYNE, INDIANA

A Leading Automotive Supplier in the Ft. Wayne, Indiana area needs a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation.

Responsibilities:

• Machine installation & set up procedures
• Adhere to all company safety practices, policies & procedures
• Perform welding & fabrication as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM’s) procedures related to all manufacturing equipment
• Perform all facility related repairs and/or project work as assigned
• Complete and submit all maintenance documentation including daily log sheets for TPM’s, Control Plans, and Downtime logs
• Coordinate with Supervisors/Managers on resources (time, materials, equipment) required for work
• Be self-driven with minimal supervision
• Have or acquire all necessary hand tools for the job

Education & Experience:

Must have Maintenance Technician experience in a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe fittings, seals, power feeds, gearing ratios, mechanical assemblies, and tolerances is required.

Experience with operating machining and formal technical training preferred. Skills in automation and mechanical troubleshooting are necessary.

An Associate Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in manufacturing is preferred. High school diploma or GED is required.

Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

1-3 years’ experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and welding.
