Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to perform upkeep, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of ice machines, refrigeration units, and air handling systems in our Wellsworth Hotel in Southbridge, MA.

The ideal candidate will have a strong refrigeration background, a customer-service mindset, and be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. This full-time role includes benefits and is based on-site at a 203-room Wellsworth Hotel.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and focused on guest experience.
• Strong background in commercial refrigeration and knowledge of ice machines, chiller systems, and air handling units.
• Basic working knowledge of general maintenance procedures.
• Two years of experience in a hotel setting preferred; driving licensure and clean record are required.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work a 2nd shift with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain quality and cleanliness standards across daily tasks and assignments.
• Observe safety rules, procedures, and security policies; assist with inventories.
• Follow the maintenance and cleaning schedules; perform other duties as assigned.
