Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a safety-driven environment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience in production maintenance.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, welding and some PLC experience and HVAC.
• Technical competency in pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, welding, PLCs and controls.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance of plant electrical and mechanical systems (lifting equipment certification, fire exits, extinguishers and sprinklers).
• Manage and maintain the preventative maintenance process.
• Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance during service.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Use hand and power tools, electrical meters and material handling equipment.
