Qualifications

• Performs preventative maintenance, light tool work, repairs and replaces parts on mechanical equipment such as presses, sanders and conveyor systems.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication and welding.
• Understands and applies appropriate and prescribed safety procedures and practices.
• Must be able to apply problem solving techniques to complex situations, read blueprints, job data sheets, and safety instructions.
• Work efficiently and without direct supervision.
• Possess basic computer skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows software.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (PLC programming experience a bonus).
• Working knowledge of 240V and 480V 3 phase and 110 volt AC and DC.
• Qualified applicants will have a Vocational Degree in a related field and or a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Climb and use ladders (Ability To Work In High Areas Comfortably Using Aerial Platforms), carry or maneuver 50+ pounds
• Twist, bend, stoop, or stand for long periods of time
• Have manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
