Herr Foods Inc. is hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for our Nottingham, PA facility. This onsite, full-time role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to lift 50 pounds, and a background in maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• One to three months of related mechanical experience and/or training.
• Ability to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.
• Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
• Good balance on slippery surfaces.
• Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, structures, pipe, and electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Coordinate with team to diagnose problems and repair equipment.
• Visually inspect and test machinery; perform preventive maintenance as required.
• Listen for unusual sounds to detect malfunctions.
• Dismantle defective machines and install parts; repair breakdowns promptly.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts.
• Install/repair electrical apparatus and components of machinery.
• Maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Maintenance Technician position, joining our Nottingham, PA team!

• SCHEDULE: Week A) Monday, Tuesday (off Wednesday) Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Week B) Monday (off Tuesday) Wednesday, Thursday (off Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• HOURS: 3pm-1am
  • Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

Your day-to-day:
