Qualifications

• This position focuses on maintenance of the facility and equipment.
• Ability to repair and service general production machinery.
• Adherence to safety and GMP/SOP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Throughout the day make repairs on all machinery, building, and electrical items as breakdowns occur.
• Reinstall parts after sanitation to restart production and readjust after start ups.
• Start each piece of equipment and verify proper performance with repairs as needed.
• Check scales to ensure weighing capability and fix issues as required.
• Start refrigeration system and monitor pressures and temperatures.
• Remove necessary parts at sanitation start to enable cleaning.
• Respond to radio calls throughout the shift.
• Perform preventative maintenance when the plant is down.
• Follow safety requirements including proper PPE usage.
