Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance according to published guidelines.
• Ability to repair, dismantle, install or move machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Knowledge of maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Ability to test systems and/or operations in compliance with published standards.
• Ability to accurately use rulers and other related measuring tools.
• Knowledge of inspecting and cleaning utility plant equipment.
• Ability to work in elevated locations.
• Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with operators and maintenance team.
• Follow established safety and environmental policies.
• Dismantle, move, install, or repair machinery.
• Examine machinery to identify malfunctions.
• Use hand tools and power tools to maintain equipment.
• Clean facilities and work areas as required.
• Assist with installing new equipment.
• Ensure proper care in the use of equipment.
• Perform program tasks and miscellaneous duties.
• Report Food Safety issues to personnel.
