Carl Buddig and Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift in South Holland, IL, offering a salary of $78,000 to $85,000 per year. The role requires leading a maintenance team, ensuring GMP compliance, and performing broad electrical, mechanical, and HVAC maintenance across facilities.

Ideal candidates will have at least four years in mechanical or electrical trades, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Four years in mechanical or electrical trades preferred; related vocational training may substitute for two years.
• Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repair across electrical, electronics, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, welding, and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a maintenance team on 2nd shift.
• Ensure GMP compliance and safe operation of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Maintain and improve boilers, conveyors, pumps, and HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and optimize maintenance schedules.
