Job summary

Holly Poultry, Inc. in Baltimore is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead preventive maintenance, troubleshoot processing equipment, and safeguard uptime across all plant systems.

You will manage a team of 4+ technicians, plan work, train staff, oversee safety compliance, and coordinate contractors while driving continuous improvement in a cold, wet production environment. USDA facility; Equal Opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in food manufacturing maintenance (USDA/SQF preferred).
• 1+ year supervisory experience managing 4+ employees.
• Strong people & project management; ability to delegate & conduct evaluations.
• Troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance oversight to maximize uptime and minimize production disruptions.
• Schedule and delegate maintenance work, keeping records.
• Lead a team of 4+ technicians; hire, train, evaluate, and support.
• Provide ongoing staff training and skill development; ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement disciplinary actions when needed.
• Assess building and equipment systems; plan work and project schedules.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of processing equipment.
• Coordinate contractors and oversee external work as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA/MOSHA).
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and alert on replenishment.
• Manage assigned projects and prioritize based on production needs.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
