Job summary

Meyers Printing seeks an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic on 2nd Shift to repair and maintain production presses and auxiliary equipment, ensuring output stays on schedule and downtime is minimized. You will install and commission new equipment and coordinate daily emergency repairs, prioritizing critical tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in maintenance-related fields, and strong communication and math skills.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience spanning building maintenance, machinery repair, electrical wiring, machine shop repairs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Strong verbal and written communication, solid math skills, and a mechanical mindset.
PC proficiency, including Word, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain production presses and all auxiliary equipment to keep output on schedule and reduce downtime.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Coordinate and schedule daily emergency repairs; set and communicate priorities.
Enable smooth shift-to-shift communication via voicemail, email, and direct conversation.
Carry out all work in alignment with corporate policies/procedures and all applicable safety regulations.
