Job summary

LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics seeks an experienced maintenance mechanic to ensure peak performance of material handling equipment on site in a distribution setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and coordinate with contractors to keep conveyors, sortation, and related equipment running smoothly.

The role requires 5 years of mechanical experience, knowledge of motors and circuits, and PLC/HMI familiarity.

Qualifications

Five years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in a distribution/industrial setting.
Basic knowledge of electrical motors and circuits.
High level of mechanical repair knowledge with conveyors preferred.
Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and HMIs preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) on site, including conveyors, sortation, and scales.
Repair or replace belts, chains, cables, wear parts; ensure proper lubrication and adjustment.
Troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and drives; read basic electrical schematics.
Use asset management systems to document labor hours, downtime, problems, remedies, and parts used.
Coordinate with departments and contractors; follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
