Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Massachusetts is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery. You will work under the Maintenance Manager to keep production lines running and ensure safe, quality coatings.

Responsibilities include repairing machinery, operating shop tools, assisting electrical projects, pipe fitting, preventative maintenance, and supporting safety programs; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams and diagnose control circuitry.
• Willing to work overtime with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Repair and adjust machinery; dismantle and replace defective components.
• Operate shop tools and machinery; assist electrical projects.
• Assist in pipe fitting and some installations.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment reliable.
• Support site housekeeping and safety programs.
• Contribute to installation of new plant equipment.
• Improve equipment reliability and uptime.
