Job summary

Lavelle Industries, Inc. seeks a skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our Burlington, WI facility. You will repair and maintain production machinery, install new equipment, and support continuous improvement efforts with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years maintenance or 5+ years machine repair in manufacturing preferred.
Experience with preventive maintenance and safety practices.
Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, blueprints, and manuals.
Proficient with hand and power tools; welding, plumbing, and fabrication skills helpful.
Able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Able to work independently or in a team with strong communication.
Must pass a maintenance competency test.

Responsibilities

Determine root cause, diagnose, repair, rebuild, install, and maintain production machinery and equipment.
Electrical power distribution and control (AC/DC, motors, schematics).
Maintain compressors and vacuum systems.
Handle pneumatic, hydraulic principles, air prep, schematics, and control components.
Machining tasks with precision measurement; welding/fabrication as required.
Maintain mechanical drive systems and alignment; lubrication and rigging.
Rebuild machines, relocate equipment, and perform inspections.
Support lean and preventive maintenance initiatives; ensure safety.
