Bake’n Joy Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift in Manchester, NH.

The role involves mechanical and electrical repairs, preventive maintenance on food processing equipment, building utilities, and facility systems to ensure reliability and safety compliance. The technician will troubleshoot a range of equipment (mixers, depositors, conveyors, metal detectors, printers) and maintain maintenance records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training required.
• Experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Certification or experience in wastewater operations and ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
• Basic plumbing and welding knowledge is beneficial.
• Experience with food manufacturing equipment and processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly equipment startups and ensure smooth operations.
• Set up production lines and make tooling changes as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair mixers, depositors, metal detectors, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate maintenance records.
